Our Privacy Statement.
Introduction
This privacy statement sets out how we ("Aquilla Services Sdn Bhd", "us", "we" or "our") handle and process your personal data provided to us over the course of our engagement, in accordance to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA") and the laws of Malaysia.
Data Collection
While the types of data we collect is determined by each operational need, these generally include but are not limited to:

your personal details such as your name, dates of birth, passport numbers or identification numbers;

your contact details such as your email addresses, telephone numbers or mailing addresses;

your business information such as any shareholding details, securities, bank account details, tax details and employment details.

The abovementioned information will be collected in compliance with the Anti-Money Laundring, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 ("AMLATFPUAA"), as well as any other applicable laws and regulations of Malaysia.
Data Use
As a data user and/or a data processor under the PDPA, the personal data ("Personal Data") we collect and process will be used for the sole purpose of providing professional services to you, for any other purpose ancillary to the above. We will notify you and get your consent for each of these use cases.
Under the PDPA, you will also have the right to contact us to withdraw, amend, change and otherwise update, or further inquire as to the administration and processing of your Personal Data, or any other part of our privacy statement.
Finally, we also do not keep data for any longer than necessary for the purposes of collection stated above. We will do this unless expressly consented by you, for the data to be retained for a longer period than necessary, or when there is some other subsisting reason which obliges us to keep this data for any longer period.
Data Disclosure
In normal cases, we would not disclose any Personal Data provided by you, to a third party without your prior consent, except in cases where we are required by any applicable law or regulation to disclose such data, or where it is necessary for the proper provision of our services.
Data Security
We take the security of your Personal Data very seriously. As such, we adopt strict policies to restrict said data, whether stored physically or electronically, only to authorised officers who have been trained to handle Personal Data safely and properly.
Finally, as stated above under Data Use, we carry out regular data housekeeping to ensure that we do not hold onto your data for any longer than necessary, by carrying out regular purges to maximise the security of your Personal Data.
